Necessary ingredients for Chili con carne with corn:
500 g ground beef
1 tablespoon oil
1-2 onions
1 clove garlic
1 can kidney beans in chilli sauce
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 bell pepper
½ fresh chilli
30 g sundried tomatoes
½ box corn (about 75 g corn).
Juice from ½ lime
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper
Tortilla Chips and any creme fraiche for garnish.
How to prepare Chili con carne with corn:
Brown meat in a heated pan with oil. Chop the onion and garlic and place in pan. Add the kidney beans (also the sauce as they have been in) and chopped tomatoes. Wash and clean peppers and chili as there are no seeds anymore.
Cut the peppers into cubes and cut chillies fine. Add in the pan. Add also sundried tomatoes and corn.
Season with salt and pepper, lime juice and sugar.
Garnish with tortilla chips if necessary and / or creme fraiche before serving.
